Directions

Public transport
If travelling by public transport you can conveniently check all the connections using the VRN trip planner.

NB: Not all navigation systems recognise the museum’s address. Please enter “Museumsstrasse 4” to be directed to the TECHNOSEUM’s visitor car park. To get to the Museum ship, enter “Neckarvorlandstrasse 2a” as your destination. Parking options are signposted there.

Parking
Various car parks are available in the vicinity of the Technoseum. If you are driving towards Mannheim Mitte (city centre) from Wilhelm-Varnholt-Allee (L637), turn right into Schubertstrasse and follow the road along Theodor-Heuss-Anlage until you see signs for “Parkplatz Friedensplatz” where there is free parking. Take the bridge across the lake or the circuit to the museum’s main entrance.

Note: the inner city and certain districts of Mannheim are designated as environmental zones (Umweltzone), which means you need an emissions sticker on your vehicle. Find out more here.
