Restoration

The museum often acquires items in poor condition which are then restored to be fit for display or even functional use and thus conserved for the future.

Restoration colloquia

With the restoration colloquium the museum has appealed to restorers, museum academics and interested laypeople since 1988. Its aim is to be a platform for current issues in all restoration fields and therefore encourage communication within the restoration scene. You can check on the latest events here. Entry is free.
