The main focus of this almost 700 square metre large new experimental area is on current science and experiments that could shape the 21st century. This includes material research, energy and environmental technology as well as production and robotics. The focus is also on the ever-increasing numbers of interfaces between men and machines as well as the differences between human senses and technical sensors. Visitors acquire knowledge about the social implications of technical innovations. They can learn about current technical innovations and those still to come – and discover that the future does not just happen, but is created on a daily basis – and that all of us are a part of it.
